The AMC Lodge and the Welton falls are the largest attractions that we visited on day one at Cardigan. We did the back 80 trail loop and Averys boot fell apart. We sketched and hiked and did GPS waypoint markings. We also saw a lot of interesting plants and iridescent purple mushrooms. There was the bus ride singing along and a pond that had a lot of bass in it. Rain was pouring down throughout the entire day. We noticed regions and different signs and arcatectural signs throughout the day, we saw hardwood regions and short-tree regions scattered along the mountain. We saw different clumps of nature, sometimes combined with other regions.We talked about how the day went and if we could have done better. While we waited for the bus and the last group to come down, we played tag and other games.
